#Incredibohol#

September 7, 2013

It was never too late to spend my summer. I've been wanting to go to Bohol and tried several attempts. I even bought tickets but wasn't able to use it due to an unexpected happenings but this time it's going to be real. By the way, tickets from cebu-bohol-cebu is only for 640.00 php (two way ticket promo from ocean jet).

(Kuya Jojo told us this one's their latest)

A day before the trip, kuya tatsky messaged me that our driver will be Kuya Jojo~one of his tour guide drivers. You may reach him at 0917-633-9502. He waited for us at the welcome center with my whole name printed on a paper :) I was also a little surprised knowing that car we'll be using is from the owner itself since all his cars were fully booked! cool \m/

Free admission on board for kids below three years old.

Welcome to Bohol! :D

I read this person in a blog and got his info. I thought I should give him a text asking for price of quotation for a whole day tour in Bohol. As soon as I received his reply, I thought it wasn't that expensive compared to others so I reserved in advance from "kuya tatsky". He opted me with three choices for the car service that ranges from 2,000.00 php (good for 2-4 pax), 2,300.00 php (good for 6 pax) and 2,600.00 php good for (15 pax). You can contact him at this sun number: 0922-637-1051 anytime.

Given the 12 spots that starts from 8 am to 5 pm. 2000.00 php is just for the car, entrance fees of 250.00 php and lunch at loboc river for 450.00 php are excluded. Best time to start is between 8:00 am or 9:00 am, If late you can just prioritize. Here are the lists with entrance fees:

1. Blood compact monument

2. Baclayon Church

3. Prony the Python (20.00 but he already died)

4. Loboc river cruise and lunch (450.00)

5. Hanging Bridge (20.00)

6. Tarsier (60.00)

7. Man-made Forest

8. Butterfly Conversation Area (40.00)

9. Chocolate Hills (50.00)

10. Dauis Church

11. Hinagdanan Cave (25.00)

12. Bee farm

It was odd at first to converse with Kuya Jojo despite his kindness since he was speaking tagalog which I am not really comfortable speaking. hahaha. But when he knew I came from Cebu he started speaking bisaya (cebuano dialect).

We started the tour on time. Kuya Jojo suggested we should start from the farthest on the list. So first on the list is the Chocolate Hills with an entrance fee of 50.00 php each. Kuya Jojo always reminded us every landmark we visited on their entrance fees. It was one hour form the port. Good thing the weather was sunny. :) Along the way to Chocolate hills, Kuya Jojo recommended a lot of adventures to do like riding ATV, superman zipline, etc. but of course we didn't prefer that one since it's out of the list. We have to stick to what is planned.

(Stairways to Chocolate Hills)

After 30 minutes in Chocolate Hills, we opted to the next stop which is in Butterfly Sanctuary with an entrance fee of 40.00 php each. There, we have a tour guide ( I forgot his name). He really knows what he's doing not to mention he's very good at entertaining guests. We took a lot of jump shots with the butterfly's wings. Nice one!

(This is half female half male)

(He was explaining the parts of the butterfly)

(with kuya jojo)

Third on the list is where we can see the smallest nocturnal arboreal primates known as Tarsier with an entrance of fee 60.00 php each. So far this one has the most expensive entrance fee among the other places we've been to. I was a little bit sad because I want to touch one but it's not allowed. huhu. But they're so cute to look at. There are only a few of them.

On the way to loboc river for lunch, we passed by man-made forest. Of course! picture time! lol

Time check 12:30 pm when we arrived at Loboc River Floating Restaurant. We bought tickets from River watch floating restaurant megaboat of 450.00 including the tax. We finished our tour at the loboc river for about an hour.

 (shuttle going to the cruise)

(It rained but no too long)

It was already 3:00 pm when we finished our lunch so we have to hurry for the 6:00 pm trip to Cebu so we've decided to prioritize Blood Compact and Hinagdanan Cave with an entrance fee of 25.00 php and car park of 15.00 php. We weren't able to take pictures on Baclayon Church since we have already passed it twice. Better luck next time.

Just beside the Blood Compact is the souvenir shop where you can buy cheap products like peanut kisses, kalamay and other delicacies. They also sell souvenir shirts for 130.00 php. But I'd recommend you to buy the shirt at hinagdanan since it much cheaper. The price of shirts at hinagdanan are just for 99.00 php.

We wanted to visit Prony the python but unfortunately he already died :(

After hinagdanan, we decided to go to the port though it was too early but we wanted to sit and relax before the trip. Hopefully, we'll be visiting Bohol again but Panglao and Danao Adventure is on the list.
