#A fuzzy and unplanned joy ride#

May 24, 2013

Rest days start tomorrow so wondering whereabouts to go... hmmm... Didn't know where our feet will take us for our excursion but one thing is for sure... we will surely enjoy the ride... :p

(Located at the right hand side of road from the city)

First stop was at ESTACA BAY compostela formerly known as stakili. I was surprised by the beach for it wasn't any white sand though we only paid 30 peso for the entrance fee.

Restaurant prices aren't that expensive but it wasn't also that cheap. Though we tried their combo meal consists of burger, fries and iced tea for 85.00 peso. For the burger patty t'was large and juicy, bun was too thick but it tasted good enough or maybe because I was very hungry...lol. The fries were overcooked and the tea was so sweet that we had to ask another glass full of ice.

Good thing they have a pool but the pool guard didn't allow us to plunge since we didn't have the proper swimming attire :( so we just went to their restaurant and find something good to eat. Pool fee is 100.00 peso.

Upset we couldn't swim in the pool because the beach wasn't so attractive we had to move for another joy ride. Meters away from estaca bay is where the GREEN LAGOON situated.

Entrance fee in the area is 20.00 peso. They really have big signage so people won't have to ask where's the rest room or the grilling area, etc.

They also have a pool and it's bigger compared to estaca bay. Same price as estaca bay. Here at green lagoon you can wear any. They don't mind not wearing proper swim wear. Of course! I indulged myself into the pool as if I never swam before..hahaha...

In spite of my fear of slides I still managed to try it several times... yehey!

I didn't get much information of the place since I'm too tired and dizzy... After the pool all I thought was to go home and have a good night sleep...

May 17, 2013

Visiting the place again for a sumptuous dinner at an affordable price.
We didn't have any reservation but thank God we still had the last seat. Hurray! <3

Most of the people planning to eat at the time were refused for almost all seats were reserved. So if you are planning to have your meal there especially on a friday and saturday night better book a reservation ahead of time.

You can reach them at 346-0618 and 0922-332-3793
But the purpose of posting this, is that they have updated their price to 220.00 peso.
No need to worry because they still have tastiest food for ME! :D  Worthy for the price...

I recommend these soup:

crab and corn bisque

mushroom soup
onion soup
corn and potato soup
clam chowder

...these salad:

fandango
primavera
chicken and mango
harvest apple

***note: there are 4 dishes under the main course which doesn't come with a salad. I forgot to take note... sorry

Thank you for reading! <3

Planned our food trip with food trippers (4 members) at Lantaw Busay after work. We rode a taxi from IT Park . The driver told us we have to add 50.00php because it's a bit far so we then agreed compared to riding a motorcycle which costs 50-60php and mahangin-ba-sa-labas show!!! LOL!

We paid 130.00php (metered) plus an additional 50.00php for a total of 180.00php good for 4pax.

But if you headed from the city taxi's price ranged from 400-500. But if you're too adventurous enough you can ride a jeepney with 04H or route going to plaza housing (LAHUG) then from the last stop, you can ride motorcycle (habal2x) with the same cost.

We arrived in Lantaw at 3:00pm. And then we saw this sign.

And another sign

From the signage we then have to walk to the restaurant
Can you see the 2 signages behind them? hahaha

Behind him is where the restaurant stands.

On your way up is a welcome sign..

view from our seats

...and another BREATH TAKING scenery which turns ROMANTIC at night

Mochi japanese ice cream. Mochi is a japanese rice cake.

These are the remaining flavors left

This is the design of their table! Gwiyomi ^___^

Japanese Ice cream flavors vary from 60 to 75 peso.

This is where they put the mochi if you want to take it out.

This is red bean flavored mochi.

Mochi is consist of 3 different layers. The outer layer which is tasteless. Imagine eating tikoy (sweeted rice cake) . That's how it tasted. The inner mochi is consist of ice cream and the red bean below.

Overall: Better alternative for Ice candy! ^___^
