#10 Dove Street 2015#

As quoted by Mark Twain: Part of the secret of success is to eat what you like. Don't you think? It isn't that bad to treat yourself once in a while when you're feeling a little missed. So a friend and I have decided to pig out to one of the first rate restos in town. Since this fave resto is no hole in the wall anymore, a reservation is indeed important if you don't want to wait in line.

#Spaghetti 101#

I always admire my mom in cooking. She really is a good cook for those who didn't know. Sometimes I help her but always end up watching her because it was way too difficult for me.

The nerve for me to post on how to make spaghetti lol.. Anyway, give chance to the poor! hahaha On the 24th, I've decided to give a little treat to the kids in the street. So I made my version of spaghetti for the first time. Given the main ingredients: Pasta, Tomato Sauce, Sausage.

Boil water and put the pasta for a few minutes until cooked and drain.

Next, saute onions followed by garlic, because based on what I've read garlic's easily get cooked than onions.

I added the meat next. Instead of ground pork, I used sausage and crushed it instead.

And poured the pasta sauce.

Then I joined the cooked pasta into the pan. Grate cheese to taste.

#Mr. A's Bar and Restaurant#

T'was a very late afternoon when our feet took us somewhere overlooking. I miss this moment where you can relax and drink your fave coffee while enjoying good chitchats. It's been ages since the last time I set my foot on this place.

Choices of either to stay indoor or an al fresco dining experience.

They offer different varieties to choose from drinks, wines to food etc.

It was indeed a very cozy ambiance which made me want to linger more but unfortunately mode of transport is limited so I have to be aware of the time.

#Rico's Lechon - Cebu's best#

One of the famous lechon (roasted pig) makers in Cebu is from Rico's. Haven't tried Rico's yet but not for long. Got to order Rico's lechon for my baby's birthday. When all the others were out of stock, Rico's was there to save me *hahahaha

I'm on a tight budget so ordered the cheapest worth Php3,500. One week reservation prior to the date. Whole lechon includes Dugo-dugo (blood porridge) for free. No free delivery, charges apply for delivery. You may reach them at 344-0119. You can also dine in at Unit 4 and 5 The Ridges Commercial Bldg. F. Cabahug Street, Mabolo (near Sykes).

Rico's Direction:

Fronting Gaisano Grand Talamban, there's a narrow path turn right follow the road and you will see a big signage of Rico's Lechon.

Yummy Lechon from Rico's

Review: Well, I've tasted lechon from different suppliers and well I would say Rico's did it very well. Thumbs up!
