#Tuslob-buwa at Azul#

Another excursions with my food buddy happened at Azul. A one of a kind experience for me to try out the ever hit tuslob buwa coined together figuratively defines as Tuslob means "to dip" whilst Buwa means "bubbles". In short to dip into bubbles - an exotic street food widely known for being low-priced which can surfeit one's hunger. It is mainly consist of pig's brain and other spices. Boiled and served straight from the wok.

Always had that curiosity how tuslob buwa tasted but I just can't seem to indulge. This is a bit challenging. Never eaten a pig's brain before, at least for once I can say I tried. I've been hearing good and bad reviews about it. Some say it tastes really good however it poses health risks. So when I heard Azul is offering this on the list, I didn't hesitate and made a visit.

Azul is nestled along the streets of Asilo, Gorordo Avenue amidst InkinIan tattoo and Aerophone. They are open from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 A.M. - 7:00 A.M.

Went there like a pro and paid P99 for the set that includes: oil, soy sauce, liver, shrimp, onions, pig's brain, 12 pcs of hanging rice and a portable stove.

Surely had a good time cooking, haha.. I have no idea how this one actually tastes but it's seemed more like ADOBO. I wonder how tuslob buwa in Pasil tasted since it originated in that place.

#Cafe Tiala#

Ever wonder how it feels to be treated like royals? Worry no more, for Cafe Tiala will let you experience how to be one. So set out a date with mah gurls and headed our way to the pink cafe.

Nestled on the 2nd floor of The Forum Building next to Grand Convention Center and Yummy Yo! Dressed up like maid greeted us like majesties. The decor allows the simplistic beauty of the food to really shine, though beauty isn't the only thing bringing folks to Cafe Tiala.

The cafe buzzed with excited energy and was comfortably full with seemingly satisfied patrons. We were fourth on the list and we waited for not less than 30 minutes to finally sit on our thrones. We were given this cute menu box and it really took us ages to order. :D Good thing their WiFi was a bit fast so I could easily connect to the social site. I had to commend  the maid (waitress) who served us for a job well done. ^___^

Isn't this the cutest???

Jasmine Tea one way to reduce obesity and hypertension at 99php. I need this one obviously! haha

Everything yummy means everybody happy. Well, I don't think everything since I haven't tasted ALL but I can say that two of my orders served were one of the best! ;) That night when I had the chance to finally visit the place definitely gave me a good time and coming for more reviews! :D

Superb! One of the best ribs in town. Now I know what they're famous for.

Champion Chops with rice at P275
When I tasted this one, I recalled my dinner at Anzani. It's very soft, the flesh is all white, and no need to add sauce for this.

The place is  cozy and not so big so consider making a reservation in advance when dining in peak hours. Allow them 20-30 minutes before the food is serve or you may call to pre-order so service will be faster. You may visit their site at http://www.everything-yummy.com for their menu and prices.

These dishes comes without rice.

For food explorers out there, I really recommend everything yummy for you to try out their signature dishes at a reasonable price. ;)

#noona cafe#

Coffee shops are coming out like mushrooms nowadays, most of them are Korean-inspired. You will notice it by its cuteness, funkiness, and homeyness ~ making their customers feel relaxed as if you're just taking a break at home. It made me think that maybe they've learned to love our country.

Among the many coffee shops in the Metro, some of them are cafe maru, sunday 2pm, cafe caw, cafe noriter, cafe namoo, cafe tiala (just recently open), oppa cafe, gentlemen cafe, and Noona cafe (older sister). It's nestled near my Alma mater "Southwestern University".

Opt for a place to chill in after a late lunch and got to remember noona considering it was just a few meters away from the place where we stand. It was my first time and I have observed a lot of things that need improvements. I don't believe in first impression lasts but it does matter. At noona, they don't offer hot drinks at the moment though they have varieties of cold drinks to offer from blended, milk tea, cool aid and some snacks at a student's reach.

I tried their blended since Milk tea isn't really my cup of tea in the first place. I asked the attendant what would she recommend and I guessed she really is equipped with what the shop is famous for. She recommended the Chocolate Oreo blended. It was not that appealing to ones eyes and it gave me an Okay, good enough taste.

The place was of no difference from other Korean coffee shops, I've noticed that the stairs way up to their second deck is not customer-friendly, I'm afraid that one might slip going down. I asked the guard the shop's schedule though he answered but he was feeling unsure of his answer. Anyway, based on my research the shop is open everyday from 10 in the morning to 11 in the evening.

Hopefully, on my next visit I can already see some positive improvements.

#Cadi Shack Diner#

Hit the road to grab a late dinner at Cadi Shack. One of Mabolo’s hidden dining spot. The place was just small; I thought the place was nice and well designed. There was also a display of their vintage Cadillac. It was already half past 8 when we arrived and we only have 30 minutes more before it closes. They open six times a week except on Sundays from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm

There were only two attendants and a guard. One was very polite, greeted and escorted us to our table. As soon as the menu was given, we didn't waste any time and ordered hurriedly as if we already have an idea about the dishes they serve.

I ordered Pork steak and a smoothie whilst a companion ordered Herb Crusted Fish (as recommended) and a raspberry iced tea. Main course ranges from 200 and up. Until our ordered arrived, we then realized that the food they serve is big enough for a petite person like me. So if you are hungry Cadi shack diner’s is a place to go. LOL! :D

THE FOOD:

It was huge and tempting. The pork was tough and hard to chew but still gave me a good taste. The fish was well cooked and tasted really good.

THE SERVICE:

I called on one of the waitresses if they could sweeten my smoothie since it tasted dull but I guess she took it bad and answered me in an ill-mannered. I thought she was really unpleasant and it really made my night so pissed although I still managed to smile and thanked them for their not so good service.

That smoothie gave me a chill so I decided to have some coffee at off roads. Byeee ^__^
