#Basdaku, moalboal#

JUNE 21, 2013

This is the first time we will celebrate our team building other than pigging out at some restaurants. :) We planned this for a month with the budget of 550.00 php each of 9 pax. We opted to go to Basdaku in Moalboal. 3 hours from the city (south bus terminal).

As soon as I have finished collecting the amount. We immediately went to the grocery to buy some foods needed for the trip. Fish, roasted chicken, Puso (Hanging rice) and some spices will be bought in the market.

This is where meat, poultry, spices, etc are bought. Located on the left side of the road.

This is where you can buy fresh fish. This one is separated from the public market.

We left the city at exactly 5:30 in the morning and arrived at 8 am (moalboal proper). The travel was exactly 3 hours. The bus was only until Moalboal proper. Good! And from the public market we rode a tricycle (25.00php each) to the resort.

We bought a very big red fish at 300.00 php. hanging rice at 3.00 php each, coal at 10.00 php per pack, roasted chicken at 160.00 php, lemonsito at 5.00 php for 6 pcs. and other spices.

NOTE: tricycle is good for 6 pax. If you are less than 6 the driver will ask you to pay for the wholesale fare of 150.00 php

This is the way to basdaku resort. About 5-10 minutes ride.

We were asked to pay for the entrance of 5.00 php each on the way to the resort.

Upon arrival at HK resort, we were the only customers at the time. lol. Good thing there were mini stores just beside the cottages. Cottages at the HK resort is 400.00 php. But the small one is about 300.00 php and it's only one.

You needn't worry if you forgot to buy something because there are a lot of mini stores just beside the cottages. HK also has their own  restaurant just beside the cottages on the right.

This is the way to basdaku (where you can see a lot of sand). This is what you'll see on your right

This is what you'll see on your left side

We immediately started to grill the fish, hotdogs, and marinated porkchop. Once done, we ate and had some games and enjoyed the beach. Good thing the weather was very good to us. It didn't rain.

After we ate, I facilitated some games for the group. First in the list is fill up the cups.

Next was the famous game show on GMA "pinoy henyo"

HK hasn't a very good restrooms and is very expensive. Shower is 20.00 php per pale, Urinate is 5.00 php per use, defecate is 10.00 php per use. GOSH!!!! Taking a shower is done outside the rest rooms. SHAMEFUL!!!

We were fetch on the same tricycle at 3:00 pm. We waited for 30 minutes for the bus going to Cebu. There was no ceres bus so we had to take the librando. We arrived in the city at 6:30 pm.

It's always summer in the Philippines ^____*

#Cafe Caw#

JUNE 23, 2013

A Sunday treat for admiration - Cafe Caw.

Cafe Caw is located across Bright Academy in Banilad. They are open from Tuesday - Thursday from 11:00 am - 11:00 pm, Friday - Saturday at  11:00 am - 12:00 mn, and Sunday at 11:00 am - 10:00 pm. They also have free WiFi connection

They only accommodate a small number of customers. Most of their customers are students who'd like to study with their laptops, books, projects, etc.

Compared to other coffee shops I've been to, Cafe Caw isn't that full of post-it notes, books, and other cutie stuffs though it's also owned by a Korean national.

Good thing there weren't a lot of customers at that time or else I'm gonna be so frustrated since Cafe Maru is always full everytime I visit there. :( This is already the second time! G-R-R..R!

Anyway I ordered Iced toffee nut latte for 115.00 php.

Hurricane Potato at 60.00 php

These are their updated menu:

My apologies for the low-res photos. I only used my phone to capture these..

#pipeline#

JUNE 19, 2013

If you are looking for a place to chill or hang out Pipeline is the place to loosen up. It is just in front of BIR

It's beside rainbow KTV. There's a restaurant in the place for those who prefer to eat while playing billiard to those who would want to play indoor sport. So here's a map below to visualize the direction.

Later after the class, food trippers planned another eat-out. It'll be my last time with them. Good things it didn't rain though the sky was very gloomy and the weather is a bit hot and humid.

Since pipeline is just behind Waterfront Hotel near IT park, we had no choice but to walk. LOL. It's about 5 minutes walk.

This way to pipeline.

These are the menus.

These are the food we recommend to those food trippers out there. It's not my first time here so I already what foods to order.

Carbonara at 100 php. This is good for two or three. Muy paborito!

Bolognese at 105 php. excellente!

Quesadillas at 90 php .
This was used to be bigger. I don't know what happened. LOL. But still it was delicious.

And their ever dearest iced tea! yummy!
